About Us

We are a small specialized law practice representing physicians and other health professionals in matters ranging from review and negotiation of new employment contracts to basic estate planning.

This law office was founded to assist physicians and other health professionals navigate through often difficult waters of contract negotiation and regulatory compliance. We believe that after all of the work that has gone into procuring a professional license nothing should be left to chance. Health professionals must protect their own licenses by ensuring the agreements they sign are fair and compliant with state and federal anti-fraud laws.

We also offer basic estate planning services to better serve the needs of our clients. It is crucially important for physicians to plan for incapacity, disability, and make decisions regarding who will care for their children and estate in the event of their death.

About Elizabeth

Picture
Elizabeth is an attorney and author located in Beverly Hills, California. Her law office services physicians of all ages and stages of career, but she is particularly passionate about working with young physicians to help get them on the right track from their very first contract. In 2019 she published a book called The Missing Module to teach physicians some of the concepts in their employment contracts that are not taught during medical training. She lectures to residents and fellows at USC, UCLA, Cedars-Sinai, and Kaiser about the importance of reading and understanding employment and contractor agreements before signing.

Elizabeth obtained her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, OR. Her focus was in health law, and she was recognized at graduation as an outstanding clinical advocate for her work serving low-income individuals. While in law school she was a board member for the Jewish Legal Society, a member of the Health Law Society, and on the Student/Faculty Health Advisory Board. Elizabeth has experience working in the non-profit sector, having worked for the Community Development Law Center in Portland and in Development for Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles. Also, Elizabeth has a background before attending law school working in the health and fitness industry as an athletic trainer and massage therapist.
